Freelance Virtual Event Producers Needed!

Prior virtual event experience not mandatory. Candidates who have live event experience with a high aptitude for technology are welcome to join the Soundings Connect Network.

Webcast Producers are known for their ability to combine a high level of customer service with tech-savvy to help configure, test and execute webcasts for live and virtual events. In support of clients, Webcast Producers set up and perform all necessary A/V tests by troubleshooting webcams, microphones and telephones to ensure optimum webcast delivery. 

These experts offer broad knowledge of teleconferencing technology hardware and software including webcams, computer capture cards, microphones and video editing tools. Webcast Producers play a key role in technical direction, calling shows, talent management and stage management. In addition, Webcast Producers are available to assist clients in the live recording of webcast sessions and subsequent A/V content editing. 

Platforms can include, but are not limited to: Intrado/INXPO, On24, WebEx, Zoom, Swapcard, Bizzabo, Remo, Adobe Connect, Microsoft Teams, Cvent Attendee Hub, and more. 

Responsibilities can include: 

  • Planning meetings with customers/presenters.

  • Set up the registration, pages and environment based on the requirements.

  • Conduct rehearsals to ensure environment is set up based on customers request.

  • Produce session day of (ie. Upload presentation, ensure video and sound are working properly, plug-ins and chat features are working, etc.)

  • Moderate the webinar to ensure a smooth flow. This can include welcoming the speaker, answering attendee questions, monitoring the chat, giving housekeeping notes, etc.
