May: 8 hours (training & onboarding)
June–August: ~20 hours/week
September–November: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Our client is seeking an experienced Speaker & Content Specialist to support a large-scale flagship event in November 2026. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless speaker experience from pre-event planning through onsite execution.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in speaker management, event technology platforms (specifically Certain), and high-touch stakeholder coordination within complex, large-scale events.

What You’ll Do:
As a Speaker & Content Specialist, you will support:
Manage the Session Inbox, including responding to speaker inquiries, sending mass communications, and escalating issues as needed
Provide ongoing support within the Certain platform, assisting speakers with:
Portal access and navigation
Uploading bios, headshots, and presentations
Updating session information
Coordinate and document all speaker and session changes across systems (Certain, SharePoint, AEM, mobile app)
Support Session Catalog launch, including:
Testing and QA
Cross-checking AEM vs. catalog
Proofing session data accuracy
Manage speaker presentation process, including:
Sending instructions and deadlines
Tracking submissions
Organizing files in SharePoint
Converting PPT files to PDF
Uploading final presentations to mobile app/session catalog
Ensure speaker registration completion, including:
Monitoring registration status
Assisting with comp codes for external speakers
Work as an embedded contractor using client systems (SharePoint, email, etc.)
Collaborate with two primary stakeholders:
Speaker/customer service lead
Database/technical lead
Perform additional duties as assigned
Onsite Responsibilities:
Lead Session Concierge Desk operations
Provide registration and attendee support as needed
Support session scanning and technical coordination
Ensure presentations are delivered to correct session rooms
Manage last-minute speaker and session updates
Support speaker rehearsals, including:
AV/equipment requests
Updated presentations
Qualifications
Proven experience supporting speaker management for large-scale events
Hands-on experience with Certain platform (required)
Strong understanding of event technology ecosystems (mobile apps, CMS, SharePoint)
Experience managing high-volume communications and inboxes
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple systems and data accuracy simultaneously
Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with presentation management workflows (PPT, PDF conversion, uploads)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel and provide onsite event support
