2019 was a year of growth for Soundings Connect! We have grown our team, our network of freelancers and our customer base. In addition, we are proud to be leveraging our network to support philanthropy and our business partners.

2019 gave us the opportunity to connect with many organizations in need of our services. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with many new customers while deepening our relationships with our existing customers. By doing so, we doubled our business!
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
We are passionate about supporting the meetings & events independent and small business community! We made it a goal in 2019 to educate the industry about the ISBO community and how it can benefit organizations. This effort lead to two articles published by MPI’s The Meeting Professional Magazine!
I am excited to share that I will be serving a special term on the MPI International Board of Directors in 2020 to represent the ISBO community!
CREATING AWARENESS
In November 2019, we signed The Code to support ECPAT, an organization dedicated to ending human trafficking. Through our partnership with ECPAT, we are educating the freelance community about how they can support this important cause.
GIVING BACK
We believe in giving back to the industry we love! It’s everyone’s responsibility to ensure we are constantly growing, evolving and ensuring our industry gets the respect it deserves. In 2019, I presented several education sessions at industry events and on online platforms about topics like Embracing the Gig Economy, Stakeholder Management, Data Driven Event Design, Pricing & Profitability and more!
