FT Contract Project Manager, Events (Boston)

Our client is seeking an experienced Event Project Manager to support internal and client-facing events and conferences. This role is responsible for full lifecycle event planning and execution across virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats. The Event Project Manager will deliver exceptional client service through strong project management, financial oversight, creative problem-solving, and seamless execution.

What You’ll Do:
As the Event Project Manager you will:
Lead full life-cycle planning and execution of multiple events (virtual, in-person, and hybrid).
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and production schedules.
Oversee financial management including budget development, expense tracking, invoice processing, reconciliation, and final reporting.
Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with venues and suppliers.
Coordinate registration, food and beverage, transportation, accommodations, entertainment, gifts, audio/visual, webcasts, staging, and speaker management.
Collaborate with Marketing, Production, Event Technology, Data, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure successful event delivery.
Manage virtual event platforms including timelines, invitations, communications, and stakeholder coordination.
Travel for site inspections and provide on-site management for live events.
Conduct post-event reconciliation, reporting, and client debriefs to support continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to client standards, compliance requirements, and risk guidelines.
