Event Technology & Systems Administrator - FT Contract

Contract | Atlanta, GA preferred | Full-Time

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Our client is seeking an experienced Event Technology & Systems Administrator to provide operational and technical support for their event technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Cvent and related event management platforms.

Working closely with event planners, stakeholders, and technology teams, this individual will help ensure platform effectiveness, data integrity, reporting accuracy, user accessibility, and adherence to organizational standards and processes, while supporting system improvements, troubleshooting, integrations, reporting, and user training across in-person, virtual, and hybrid environments.

What You’ll Do:

Platform Management

  • Manage, configure, and optimize the Cvent platform, including Meeting Request Forms, process forms, access portals, and event calendars

  • Administer budget and sourcing modules, user permissions, and event templates

  • Support mobile applications, workflows, data structures, reporting dashboards, and platform enhancements

Event Technology Support

  • Serve as the primary escalation and support resource for event technology

  • Provide troubleshooting, testing, issue resolution, and launch support for event websites, registration systems, and integrations

  • Support mobile applications across virtual, hybrid, and in-person events

Data Management & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, and KPIs

  • Establish and uphold data governance standards

  • Analyze event performance, registration trends, attendee engagement, budget utilization, and database integrity to deliver actionable business insights

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in event technology, event operations, or platform administration

  • Cvent Certification(s)

  • Advanced experience with the Cvent platform

  • Experience managing enterprise event registration systems

  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills

  • Experience with user administration and technology governance

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication abilities

  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

  • Familiarity with API integrations and event technology ecosystems

  • Experience supporting virtual and hybrid event technologies

  • Knowledge of event sourcing, budget management, and procurement processes
