Account Executive - Full Time
Full-Time | Exempt | South Florida

Our client is seeking an Account Executive to utilize significantly honed skills as a local meeting planner (including transportation logistics, event production, teambuilding, etc.) and cultivate sales through a geographic territory, assigned hotel or assigned House Accounts. To lead a sales team consisting of an Account Manager and Account Coordinator to successfully create proposals, develop, secure and execute said programs.

What You’ll Do:
Sales & Business Development
Generate new opportunities through proactive sales efforts in your assigned territory
Communicate with clients to understand goals, program needs, and budget parameters
Create and present tailored proposals in collaboration with internal teams and vendors
Negotiate and contract approved services with clients
Consistently work toward and achieve individual and team sales goals
Client Experience & Program Execution
Manage accounts from proposal through final billing
Conduct site visits with clients and attend pre- and post-conference meetings
Serve as the primary client contact throughout program planning and execution
Check in with clients daily during live programs, either in person or through your Account Manager
Ensure a seamless, high-quality experience that supports client success
Account Management & Relationships
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and hotel partners
Manage deposits, accounts receivable, and financial timelines
Navigate competitive influence on key accounts
Develop new opportunities within existing relationships
Engage senior leadership to expand account influence and exposure
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and supervise an Account Manager and Account Coordinator
Guide the team in proposal development, planning, and execution
Hold yourself and your team accountable for performance and results
Lead by example in alignment with company core values
Foster a collaborative, solution-oriented team environment

Excel and Word to manage proposals, budgets, contracts, and client documentation
Sales tools and CRM systems to track opportunities, accounts, and pipeline activity
Direct client communication (calls, meetings, site visits) to uncover needs and build trust
Collaboration with Account Managers, Account Coordinators, hotel partners, and vendors
On-site program presence to oversee execution and support real-time problem-solving
Internal reporting and forecasting tools to monitor performance and progress toward goals

Lead, mentor, and supervise your Account Manager and Account Coordinator
Own the client experience from proposal through final billing
Deliver timely, thoughtful communication – including returning all client calls within 24 hours
Build lasting relationships with clients, hotels, and partners
Navigate live programs with confidence, adaptability, and a solution-oriented mindset
Consistently meet or exceed sales goals while modeling company core values
