WIST x SOUNDINGS WEBINAR AND SURVEY

The Weight We Carry:
A Wellbeing Conversation
for Event Professionals

Event work asks a lot of people. The hours, the pressure, the pivots, the travel, the onsite execution, and then straight into the next one. Most people push through because the work has to get done. But what does that cost over time? This conversation, hosted by Soundings Connect in partnership with Wist, is built around a simple question: how are you really doing?

A COMMUNITY SURVEY

We will introduce the Soundings Connect Wellbeing Check-In, a community survey designed specifically around the real pressures of event work.

AN HONEST CONVERSATION

We'll talk honestly about what stress, burnout, recovery, and sustainability actually look like for event professionals. Not theory. Something practical you can use.

The wellbeing check-in survey launches the same day. Come to the webinar. Take the survey. Help us tell this story.

Event work is meaningful, and it's genuinely hard. On July 10th, we're hosting an honest conversation about stress, burnout, and sustainability in the events industry, in partnership with Wist, a daily stress management platform built on CBT and positive psychology. Come hear what event talent is really carrying, and what we can do about it.

ABOUT WIST

Stress doesn't stay at work. It follows you home, sits in your chest on Sunday night, and shows up again Monday morning. Most workplace wellness tools ignore this.

Wist is daily stress support that fits into a real workday. You check in for 10 minutes a day. You get techniques grounded in Cognitive Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Immersion Theory. Over time, your AI companion, Joy, learns your stress patterns and adapts to what actually works for you.

MEET THE SPEAKER

Anil Punyapu

Founder & CEO, WIST

Anil Punyapu is Co-Founder and CEO of Wist, a daily stress management platform built on cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and neuroscience. He spent over a decade as one of the earliest employees at Cvent (NYSE: CVT), helping grow the company from a two-person startup to a global leader in events technology with 5,000 employees and over $200M in annual revenue.

Working alongside event professionals for years, he watched stress take a real toll on good people, including himself, and could not find tools that actually helped. That experience led directly to Wist. He holds a JD from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law and is pursuing an EMBA at UCLA Anderson.
