Senior Cvent Platform Administrator
Contract | Remote (US), preference for Foster City, CA area | Full-Time
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Cvent Platform Administrator to serve as the operational subject matter expert for their Cvent platform. This individual will own day-to-day governance, configuration, reporting, and administration of the Cvent environment — partnering across internal teams and agency partners to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective platform use.
This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who thrives with autonomy in a complex, highly regulated environment and wants to be the go-to Cvent expert for the organization.

What You’ll Do:
Platform Governance & Administration
Serve as the senior operational SME for Cvent administration
Oversee day-to-day administration, monitoring, and platform health
Establish and apply governance standards for configuration, data, and access
Configuration & Reporting
Configure and maintain account settings, workflows, templates, and fields
Build, test, and maintain Cvent reports and templates
Perform recurring data-quality reviews and troubleshoot platform issues
Compliance & Operational Support
Apply approved Legal, Compliance, IT, and Procurement requirements to platform use
Provide advanced support to internal users, Cvent Champions, and agency partners
Develop and deliver training, SOPs, and knowledge-base content
Qualifications:
Required: Cvent Account Administrator Certification
Preferred: Cvent Account Administrator Certification and Cvent System Administrator Certification
Significant hands-on experience administering Cvent in a complex, enterprise, or highly regulated environment
Advanced knowledge of Cvent architecture, access administration, workflows, and reporting logic
Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities independently
Preferred: CMP certification; 5+ years in event technology; pharma/life sciences experience
