Senior Cvent Platform Administrator

Contract | Remote (US), preference for Foster City, CA area | Full-Time

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Cvent Platform Administrator to serve as the operational subject matter expert for their Cvent platform. This individual will own day-to-day governance, configuration, reporting, and administration of the Cvent environment — partnering across internal teams and agency partners to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective platform use.

This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who thrives with autonomy in a complex, highly regulated environment and wants to be the go-to Cvent expert for the organization.

What You’ll Do:

Platform Governance & Administration

  • Serve as the senior operational SME for Cvent administration

  • Oversee day-to-day administration, monitoring, and platform health

  • Establish and apply governance standards for configuration, data, and access

Configuration & Reporting

  • Configure and maintain account settings, workflows, templates, and fields

  • Build, test, and maintain Cvent reports and templates

  • Perform recurring data-quality reviews and troubleshoot platform issues

Compliance & Operational Support

  • Apply approved Legal, Compliance, IT, and Procurement requirements to platform use

  • Provide advanced support to internal users, Cvent Champions, and agency partners

  • Develop and deliver training, SOPs, and knowledge-base content

Qualifications:

  • Required: Cvent Account Administrator Certification

  • Preferred: Cvent Account Administrator Certification and Cvent System Administrator Certification

  • Significant hands-on experience administering Cvent in a complex, enterprise, or highly regulated environment

  • Advanced knowledge of Cvent architecture, access administration, workflows, and reporting logic

  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities independently

  • Preferred: CMP certification; 5+ years in event technology; pharma/life sciences experience
